Karangasem - Bali International Marathon is initiated
by Mekar Wisata Tours & Travel Bali, Candi Beach Cottage
and AustrAsia Tours Germany.

The idea in holding such event is to promote the beauty of the East Coast
of Bali to the world thru sports activity.

Karangasem Regency has its own unique Balinese Culture,
like what we can find at the Tenganan Village.

The heritage of the old Karangasem ancient - Tirta Gangga,
Taman Ujung Karangasem and Puri Karangasem - is one of the best to visit.
Outdoor activities like trekking and hill climbing along the beautiful hilly
of Candidasa are suggested to be experienced.

The 3rd Karangasem - Bali International Marathon
are waiting to be held on the 15th April 2001.
